In the unlikely case you get lost or get in trouble in Hungary call one of the following cellphone-numbers: +36-20-418-6108 or +36-20-443-1850.
By car
Those who come by car from Vienna, may take the motorway M1 (from Hegyeshalom) to Budapest or, from the direction of Graz, may cross the border at Rábafüzes and can take national main road No.8 to Budapest, then M5 from Budapest (you can reach M5 through the circle M0 around Budapest) to Szeged. Toll has to be paid for a section of M1 close to the Austrian border (currently HUF 1800), and for a section of M5 until Kiskunfélegyháza (currently HUF 2500). After Kiskunfélegyháza the national main road No.5 leads directly to Szeged.
At the final stage of your journey you might like to enjoy the sight of the famous Hungarian puszta ;-) (it is very plain).
By plane
If you arrive to Hungary by plane to Ferihegy 1 or 2, you may take
an "Airport-minibus" from the airport to the railway station called
"Nyugati" (Westside). This costs about 2500 HUF and it is the most
convinient way to get into the capital. We advise you not to choose
taxi for this purpose.

By train
Trains start regularly from Budapest "Nyugati pályaudvar" (Westside Railway Station) to Szeged approximately in every two hours. We strongly recommend the use of InterCity trains, in which the extra cost is ca. 2 Euro for seat reservation. The exact timetables and prices are avilable here. Szeged is the last stop of this line so you are expected to leave the train when everybody else does :-)
Our representatives will be waiting for you at the train station of Szeged, and will take you to the hotel.
