History

Hungarian chemometricians have met every year for three days to see the latest results of their colleagues. Kemometria’02 will be the 23rd in series.

In four cases the Hungarian Chemometric Workshop was included in the general assembly of the Analytical Branch of the Hungarian Chemical Society.

 

Conference fee

The conference fee includes free admission to the lectures, abstract book, list of participants, reception banquet, meals and accommodation (two nights).

Full participant ................................... 360 EUR

Student ............................................... 260 EUR

Naturally, we cancel the registration fee for invited lecturers, however, we could not find any fund for accommodation. Special prices are planned to Hungarian and Eastern participants.

 

Proceedings

Selected lectures (invited and submitted, oral or poster) will be published in the Chemometrics and Intelligent Laboratory Systems (Elsevier) or Chem. Anal. (a journal devoted to all branches of Analytical Chemistry) after the normal refereeing process.

Program

The program will be distributed together with the abstract book.  The preliminary plans involve arrival and poster mounting on Sunday;  English session on Monday morning, Hungarian sessions on Monday afternoon;  Poster session on late afternoon before the banquet (Monday);  Hungarian sessions on Tuesday.

Poster session

Encouraged by the last year's success poster contributions are also acceptable. Best poster award will be distributed during the banquet.

 

General Information

The Conference is a Hungarian Workshop, but several lectures of foreign scientists will keep us informed about the newest developments. (No simultaneous translation will be provided.)

Now we try organizing the meeting jointly with the QSAR and Modeling Society (Chair: A. Lopata, CheMicro Ltd.)

Contributions will only be included in the Book of Abstracts provided at least one of the authors has formally registered and has paid the registration fee before
