Membership is open to all those with a scholarly interest in the Crusades and the Latin East. Payment may be made by personal cheque, International Money Order, by credit card, by direct (Interbank) transfer, or by standing order.

Membership and receipt of the Bulletin #31:
Individual: GBP 10, USD 20 or EUR 15; 
Student: GBP 6, USD 12 or EUR 9; 
Joint membership: GBP 15, USD 30 or EUR 21.
Membership and receipt of the journal Crusades Vol. 10 (which includes the Bulletin): (One rate only) -- GBP 25, USD 46 or EUR 32.
Joint members receiving the journal: pay additional GBP 7, USD 13 or EUR 9.

Payment may only be made in one of the currencies listed, but payment can be made in several ways.. 

1) Payment may be made by cheque/money order, made payable to 'SSCLE,' and sent to the treasurer at the address below. Personal cheques are acceptable, but must be drawn in sterling on a British bank, in dollars on an American bank (or an American correspondent or branch bank), or in euros on a euro-zone bank with a Paris clearing house. Please do not send cash.

2) Payment can be made by bank transfer, using IBAN numbers and SWIFT code:

Use the codes appropriate for the currency of payment, and be sure to clearly identify yourself.

3) Members in the United Kingdom can pay by standing order.

4) Members world-wide can pay by credit card through Paypal. Log on to https://www.paypal.com and (if necessary) follow the instructions for establishing a new account. The vendor is the Society for the Study of the Crusades & the Latin East, and the account email address is james.d.ryan@verizon.net. Payments may be made in USD or GBP or EUR, with a surcharge to cover the fees Paypal collects from vendors. For each subscription with journal or back issue of Crusades, add USD 2, EUR 2, or GBP 1. For other categories of membership add USD 1, EUR 1 or GBP 1.

If anyone wishes to prepay subscriptions, it is now possible to pay three years at once, prepaying two years.

Whatever method of payment is used, please return the attached form to the treasurer, by post or email, along with the membership information form for publication in Bulletin #31. Please note that the membership list is periodically purged of those who have not paid dues for a period three years or longer,

The publisher anticipates mailing copies of Crusades Vol. 9 to subscribers about15 November or shortly thereafter. Copies of Bulletin #30 will be mailed at approximately the same time.Please return the attached form with your payment before 15 December, 2009
NOTE:  You are encouraged to supply this information as a computer printout or as a return via email rather than using this sheet. Please follow the divisions listed below.

Copies of back issues of the journal Crusades (Vols. 1 through 7) are available through the SSCLE at GBP 30 (USD 56, EUR 40) per number. This is a substantial discount on the list price.  If you wish to order back issues, please so indicate on the attached sheet.
